Who is Zornes Customs?

We're the Zornes family. Hillsboro is home, and it has been for over 40 years.

Our story starts with Kimble Zornes, who launched Zornes Services in 2005 and spent the next two decades earning a reputation for showing up, doing the work right, and standing behind it. His son, Nathan, grew up on those job sites. [Add a detail here: first time running equipment, a job that stuck with him, etc.]

Today Nathan leads Zornes Customs, carrying the same work ethic into septic systems, site work, and excavation. Same family. Same hometown. Same handshake.

What do we do?

Septic system installation

  • New systems, replacements, and repairs. We're a registered installer with the Highland County Health Department and work with you from permit to final inspection.

Land clearing and excavation

  • Lot clearing, brush and tree removal, grading, and site prep for homes, barns, driveways, and outbuildings.

Drainage and erosion control

  • Culverts, ditching, rock work, and rip-rap for pond banks and creek edges.

Demolition and breakout

  • Concrete removal and tear-outs to get your project back to clean ground. Half-day job or multi-week project. We treat both the same way.

Where do we work?

Based in Hillsboro, we serve all of Highland County and the neighboring counties, including Adams, Brown, Clinton, Fayette, Pike, and Ross. Outside that area? Give us a call. If we can do it right, we'll make the drive.
